Janie Rose

Janie Rose is 20 years old and she is from Anchorage, Alaska. She is an Alaska Native, or First People of Alaska. Janie's community is very nice and close to each other. In her town, they have many tiny stores and most Natives love dried fish.

The first people that immigrated to alaska where russians, after the russians came more and more people came like samoan and tongan people. When more people came it was easier for alaska natives started learning english and missionaries came to teach people the word of god. While learning english and about god the immigrants also brought diseases with them so more and more people got affected.

I think immigration made a good change to america it gave us different type of food, place ( Chinatown in downtown LA), it gave us different types of business for jobs. I would say some personal lessons i learned was that it's easy to to be mean to someone different but it harder to be nice. A skill i used was writing i used my writing skill to write details about the person im interviewing
