Jayden Lee

My name is Jayden Lee, and i'm currently working on a project in Mrs. Sember class at Alvarado Intermediate school. It is about different varieties of people that live in us and the people that are trying to get to the us. By reading journeys from people from different ethnicity I can connect their challenges and cope it with my daily challenges, like how I can escape hard work of homework.

Some things about me are really simple, I do everything in a average pace, getting As and Bs or turning everything on time. I live in family of 4 with a brother, mother, and father.

Reflection

By doing this project I solved the essential question which is " How has immigration shaped america" The answer to that is we won't be here without other people. As project is named Face of America it tells me america is the people. People change the us changing us how we think about other people.

People tell stories of family members coming to america as immigrants, but what does this got to do with us? Problem solving that they did coming to us can help us cope with problems today like racism and war.

What I learn about immigration is that its not always bad but instead it can bring more people making america stronger. I made a skill by learning immigration myself, I learned how make stronger paragraph by just learning different formatting styles that other other wrote about the interviewee. Social skills I learned was to engaged myself to actively listen to my interviewee as like listening to other groups critiquing our work. Daily situations and personal concepts that occur to me are hard so I like to use project that we work on to solve problems at home or at school.
